Arctic Dance Network is searching for three persons from Finland (one choreographer and two dancers) and two persons from Norway / Sweden (two dancers) to participate in the innovative canadian performance concept Dare!
Dare! is a game-like choreographic domino. Three choreographers create a choreography for a day, rehearsaled in one day and presented to the public in the evening, three days a row. Next choreographer gets the inspiration from the performance and creates the next day's show.
This project operates in several languages (French, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and English) and all the participants are required to master English as a fluent working language. Original concept of Dare! - Osez! is from Karine Ledoyen, cie K par K, Quebec, Canada, and she will travel to Hammerfest with her team of dancers initiating the concept in DanseFestival Barents this year. ​

4.-6.11. working days and performances
7.11. travel day
Place:
Arktisk kultursenter, Hammerfest, Norway
Fees:
Finnish dancers fee for 5-7h repetitions each working day + performance fee each evening (paid through Norwegian partner, billing address needed)
Travels and accommodation paid by the project - please inform us as precisely as possible from where you would travel. Exact fees and working hours will be precised according to possible further funding.
